As a Senior Manager in Accenture's Strategy and Consulting team, you will be managing complex client engagements within the Consumer Goods & Services industry. Directly interacting with the C-levels of our clients, you will be responsible for the timely delivery of actionable, value creating solutions and strategies, helping our customers become high performing businesses.

As such, we are looking for outstanding individuals with deep industry expertise and a strong analytical and conceptual mind with demonstrated leadership qualities that will be instrumental to the growth of our footprint within the industry.

Usually leading mid-sized teams, we expect our senior managers to be role models for the other team members in terms of mastery of Industry and functional skills, client relationship building and business acumen.

You will be mainly Brussels or Luxembourg based, but need to collaborate cross-border with other strategy/business experts on a regular basis.

Your job

You will provide your expertise on the intersection of business and technology to create client impact. We are looking for talented senior managers who will:

  • Support our clients to successfully navigate the challenges of today and reinvent themselves to be relevant in tomorrow’s markets linked to:
    • Growth, innovation and New business models
    • The digitization in their go-to-market strategy
    • Become data and insight driven
    • Back-office transformations
    • Agile Supply Chain
  • Manage complex project deliveries on client engagements, with teams of Analysts, Consultants and Managers.
  • Provide deep subject matter expertise, industry perspectives and relevant point of views to drive client value across several of Accenture's Services' offerings.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to accelerate the growth of our business.
  • Identify opportunities to grow Accenture's Consumer Goods & Services market share with a focus on Belgium & Luxembourg.
  • Be the entrepreneur of their career, defining and executing our business development and sales plan.
  • Support the growth and development of the BeLux Consumer Goods & Services team within Accenture, nurturing the knowledge, engagement, impact and growth of this community.
  • Represent Accenture at industry events.
  • Create networks of customers across existing and potential clients, as well as internal Accenture stakeholders.

Your background

  • University degree
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in the consumer goods & services industry (either at a consulting company or within the industry)
  • Effective communication in English and Dutch/French
  • Deep understanding in one or more areas of the consumer goods & services industry value chain
  • Strong problem-solving capability and desire to make an impact
  • Commitment to the success of the team in a collaborative environment
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and excellent relationship building skills
  • Experience in managing teams and developing people
