In this context, the Deal shaping Architect has a prominent role in shaping deals that bring real value to our customers in the field of Application Services. This is a significant business for Accenture, spanning Systems Integration and Application Outsourcing work.

Your job

As a Deal shaping Architect you have a key role in supporting interpretation of client requirements and translate those into a technology solution that can be configured from a standard set of offerings.

You are accountable to proactively provide the needed leadership, analysis and design of a desirable, feasible and financially sound solution that achieves the client targeted business outcomes.

You work closely with the bid management team to ensure solution synchronization, i.e. alignment across client expectations, contract, financials (including pricing tables), solution and capability to deliver

Afterwards you ensure a smooth transition of the solution plan to the Delivery Lead, making sure they understand and agree to the documented solution.

  • Understand the client business drivers, contextualize the industry and technology trends, analyze the competitors and determine their potential impact on the opportunities.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal groups to inject “the best of Accenture” into our solution.
  • Develop an optimised solution, evaluate the right delivery and commercial model, include appropriate offerings, assets, alignment to cloud and digital strategies, setting the foundation for an effective and differentiated sale and delivery experience, complying with all necessary standards and internal directives.
  • Present the solution at orals, ensuring the solution is accurately represented and advise the sales team on available solution levers and solution options for their commercial and contract negotiation sessions.

Your background

  • You have experience in delivery projects and have a commercial and entrepreneurial mind-set.
  • You can understand the “big picture” as well as the short-term perspectives and can translate these to-be business capabilities and requirements into a technology solution.
  • You have a good understanding of the new and emerging technology trends, and can apply those to evolving digital businesses and disruptive operating models.
  • You have a good understanding of different delivery methodology including agile methods.
  • You have the capability to identify impact and risks of the different delivery models on the opportunities and can provide guidance to mitigate the risks.
  • You are fluent in English, French and/or Dutch
