For our Technology practice in Luxembourg, we are currently looking for: 

  • Data Scientists 
  • Big data consultants 
  • Big data managers 

As data scientist, and together with your team, you will:  

  • Solve challenging business problems using advanced statistical methods including AI, ML and quantitative analytics;   
  • Understand business requirements and supporting the development of business cases;  
  • Run discovery analytics to identify new and innovative opportunities;   
  • Partner with developers and engineers to deploy, embed and scale analytics to deliver complex/critical analysis projects;  
  • Create reusable assets, solutions and developing best practices for current and future business problems;  
  • Lead analytical discussions and influence analytical direction of clients’ teams; 
  • Communicate and provide guidance to senior client leadership and teams;    
  • Contribute data science expertise to new sales activities; 
  • Have fun in all of the above. 

As big data consultant or manager, you will together with your team: 

  • Shape and drive the full lifecycle of a Big Data solutions; 
  • Assess the current data capabilities, application landscape, data sources and tools; 
  • Define modern data architectures; 
  • Realize or lead proof of concepts; 
  • Estimate, plan and deliver modern analytics solutions; 
  • Provide thought leadership and grow big data skills and capabilities; 
  • Have fun in all of the above. 
As data scientist, you have:  
  • Relevant work experience in data science, business analytics or business intelligence  
  • Practical experience in coding languages e.g. Python, R, Scala, SAS etc.;  
  • Strong proficiency in database technologies e.g. SQL, ETL, No-SQL, DW, and Big Data technologies e.g. Hadoop, Mahout, Pig, Hive, etc.;  
  • Knowledge of statistical modelling techniques e.g. Classification and regression techniques, XGBoost, Neural Networks, Markov chains, etc.;   
  • Experience of using Cloud technologies e.g. GCP or Azure or AWS;  
  • Specialized visualization techniques e.g. D3.js, ggplot etc.;  
  • Strong verbal/written communication & data presentation skills; 
  • Ability to lead large projects and drive through to completion. 
As big data consultant, you have: 
  • At least 3 years of deep experience across systems integration, business intelligence, analytics, data management and solution architecture; 
  • Good knowledge of big data and analytics market landscape: 
  • Proficient knowledge of HADOOP; 
  • Proficient knowledge in one or several of the following NOSQL DBs:  MongoDB, REDIS, CouchDB, NEO4J, HBASE, CASSANDRA, Datastax, AMAZON DynamoBD, Azure Cosmos DB, Google Cloud Datastore; 
  • Proficient knowledge in one or several of the following analytic/BI engines: Tableau, Qlickview , BO, SAS, MicroStrategy, SAC, PowerBI, Splunk, R, Python, Spark, PIG & HIVE, Alteryx; 
  • Proficient knowledge in one or several of the following ETLs:  Informatica, SSIS, TALEND, SAP BW, CAMEL, KAFKA; 
  • Experience with waterfall and agile delivery methodologies; 
  • Exposure and experience in reporting to your management at Accenture and at your client. 
As big data manager, you have: 
  • At least 5 years of deep experience across systems integration, business intelligence, analytics, data management and solution architecture 
  • Good knowledge of big data and analytics market landscape: 
  • Proficient knowledge of HADOOP; 
  • Proficient knowledge in one or several of the following NOSQL DBs:  MongoDB, REDIS, CouchDB, NEO4J, HBASE, CASSANDRA, Datastax, AMAZON DynamoBD, Azure Cosmos DB, Google Cloud Datastore
